Chapter 8: Temple of Wind: in Between
Third week of travel, they finally reached the kingdom of Gale, the land of the Aviators of Wind. Which is also known as the land of the Dual Aviators.
At first, Himeno was puzzled why she needs to go off alone with Phoebee and leave the rest behind. There in, she found out that the Temples of Wind was divided into two. The Female Wind and the Male Wind.
Phoebee came from the Female ones, of course, so she needs to come with her because she is a female and the other four were men so they will be sheltered at the temples of Male wind Aviators.
Himeno wondered what is going on at these temples. Then the current Female Temple keeper explained why they have gone this way for a thousand years.
Wind Temples were divided by discrimination. Millions of years, the Wind Temple is guided by a female thus results the envy of men and began to question why they are not allowed to become a temple keeper despite that they are more powerful than women.
Male Wind Aviators always engage themselves to nonsense battles that results failure, that's why heaven's judgement fell upon them not to have any right to rule again as a temple keeper.
Another reason was the book of the Wind Temples which was entrusted to the female aviators thus results a dispute between the two race.
Himeno thought of it as a childish act, and wanted to speak to the male Aviators but Phoebee stopped her telling that there is no other way to stop the million year dispute between the two.
For a while, Himeno listened and Phoebee relieved.
But at the middle of the night, Himeno sneaked out of the temples of Female Aviators to the temples of Male Aviators.
But she was caught at the gates and brought before the Male Temple Keeper.
They immediately ordered of her execution. Luckily, Lexiel and Abby saw her and rescued her. They Told the Male Temple Keeper that the young girl at their presence is no other than the Holy Guardian herself.
All Male Aviators fell on their knees asking for her forgiveness.
Jyosei woke up of the ruckus at the hall and told them to keep quiet for he can't sleep when he saw Himeno crying at Abby's clutches.
Himeno, upon seeing Jyosei, run to his hands and cried. Seaver came over to see also the ruckus and found Himeno at Jyosei's arms. Jyosei told the male Aviators that they almost killed the Holy Guardian and nearly caused the loosing of hope to retrieve Cena Athron.
Abby said he had enough of the nonsense thing so he called up to Phoebee and told her to bring the Female Keeper to mountains of Gale and end up this dispute.
At first, the two temple keepers were reluctant to talk to each other. They were still arguing of the past like their ancestors.
It was then a mysterious man attacked them then the two united to protect Himeno. they were able to send the attacker away. Then they realized that they will be more powerful if they will unite.
At first time, both Aviators were able to meet each other as friends. they thanked Himeno and gave her the book of the wind and wishes her luck on defeating Nesphie and end all her cruelty in the land.
